cut asparagus into 2-3cm-sized pieces; boil it in water for about 10 minutes with some fresh leaves of lovage added ; make a roux using plenty of butter, infuse asparagus stock, season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, lemon zest and refine with cream; serve topped with asparagus spears.
