INGREDIENTS (quantities calculated for 1 litre soup):
--belly of pork 160g - very finely sliced (available at Nak Won Super, Zieglergasse 1070 Vienna)
--white radish of 8cm length
--carrots 1-2
--sasify 1
--Konnyaku (paste made of aron-root, available at asia shops)
--half a leek
--water 1 litre
--Katsuo-Dashi (dried Bonito fish)(available at asia shops)2 tsp
--Miso 4tbsp
--sesam oil 1tsp
PREPARATION:
-cut meat into strips, firm to bite
-quarter radish and carrots and cut them into 5mm pieces,
-cut sasify into sloped thin slices,
-cut leek finely into 1mm slices,
-blow Konnyaku into bits firm to bite and boil them in water for 2-3 minutes (to minimise the smell)
COOKING:
-heat sesam oil in a pan,
-roast pork and half of Katsuo-Dashi,
-afterwards add Konnyaku, white radish, carrots and sasify and continue to roast,
-pour in water,
-when brought to the boil skim the foam,
-add the remainig Katsuo-Dashi and the other half of Miso and continue to boil for 7-8 minutes on medium heat,
-add remaining Miso and leek and boil for 1 minute - ready!
