Rinse 5 large, green bell peppers, remove the core, cut them in halves and bring them to a short boil in salted water, together with 1/2 onion
Make a light roux with butter and 1 tablespoon flour and pour in stock cube - or beef broth
Now puree bell peppers and onion with a blender, add them to the roux soup, also the cooking water.
You may pour the soup through a sieve to separate the peelings of the bellpeppers from the softer parts, so you'll get an even more fine consistency.
Finally top the soup with a blob of cream and season with salt and pepper
