for ten persons
as a refreshment for participants of a ceramic workshop

3 big onions
2,5kg potatoes
150g dried boletus mushrooms
300g fresh boletus mushrooms
caraway
bay leaf
thyme
salt
oil
2 tablespoons flour

soak the dried mushrooms in hot water for about 1 hour.
mince onions and roast them in oil until golden. sprinkle with flour and roast it too, until it's got a slightly brown color. now pour in 3 litres water and also the liquid of the soaked mushrooms. add diced potatoes and the spices, season with salt and cook until tender.
slice the fresh mushrooms, roast them in butter, and add them together with the dried mushrooms to the soup just before serving.
