recipe for 5-6 persons
150g pearl barley (sponsered by Riedhart)
200g cured pork (sponsered by Riedhart)
1 small onion (sponsered by Otter)
1 carrot(sponsered by Otter)
1 leek(sponsered by Otter)
1/2 celery(sponsered by Otter)
1 yellow carrot(sponsered by Otter)
1 1/2l broth of cured pork
bay leaf, majoram, parsley, salt, pepper

Mince onion and sweat it in oil, add pearl barley and roast shortly.
Pour in the broth, add bay leaf and majoram and simmer for 30 min.
cut leek into slices, roots into dices, add them to the soup and simmer for a few minutes.
Season to taste with salt, pepper and bestraw with parsley.
