Ingredients:
beef (rib)
1500g onions
800g cornmeal
3-4tbsp of rice
200g walnuts
150g oil
grenadine if required 100-150ml
corianderseeds, ground
1-1,5tsp of coriander
1 bunch of parsley
1 bunch of basil
1 bunch of Chmeli- Suneli (spice mixture)
4-5tsp of parsley root
1 garlic
5-6 hot chilis
3-4 cinnamon sticks
1 pinch of Imeretinian saffron (or other saffron or curcuma)
2tbsp of bay leaves
4-5 pepper corns, ground
salt on your taste

Prearrangement:
- cut meat into bite-sized pieces
_ slice onions, coriander, basil and parsley, chilis (seeds picked out)
- mash or mince walnuts
- chop parsley root
- peel and mash garlic

Preparation:
- place meat in a jar (Marmite), pour in about 2,5l water,
bring to a boil, remove foam and let simmer for 1-1,5 hours.
- sweat onions and cornmeal with oil
- add rice, onions, parsley root, coriander seeds, bay leaves
and pepper and boil for another 15min.
- add minced walnuts, grenadine, parsley, Chmeli-Suneli, chilis,
cinnamon and Imeretinian saffron and simmer for another 5 min.
- put jar away from the stove
- add garlic, coriander, basil, cover with a lid and allow to steep
for 3-5 minutes.
